Picture the sun dropping low over the ridgeline, the trees ablaze in burgundy and gold, and the crisp mountain air carrying just enough of a chill to make it feel like something out of a storybook. That's the backdrop for our five o'clock ceremony, and we cannot wait to share it with you.
Guests are kindly asked to wear all black, head to toe. Together we'll make one stunning, elegant crowd set against the colors of the autumn mountains.
Due to limited venue space, we are only able to accommodate the guests named on your invitation so there are no plus ones. We sincerely appreciate your understanding and cannot wait to celebrate with you.
Cell service can be spotty on mountain roads. We recommend downloading directions to 7482 South Mountain Institute Rd, Nebo, NC 28761 before you head out.
After we say our vows beneath the open mountain sky, we invite you to stay and celebrate the night with us. Dinner will be a warm and welcoming spread — hearty soups, fresh salads, and artisan sandwiches — the kind of food that feels like a hug at the end of a perfect autumn evening. Eat, drink, settle in — because once the plates are cleared, we are turning this thing into a party.
We said our vows. Now somebody turn up the music. Wear your dancing shoes. Come ready to stay late, dance hard, and make memories against the backdrop of the Blue Ridge at night. This is not a sit-down-and-watch kind of wedding — this is a party that happens to start with vows.

The closest hotels are in Marion (about 15 minutes away) and Morganton (about 25 minutes). October is peak fall foliage season in the Blue Ridge — we strongly recommend booking early.
Our bride is Kat — and when she's not getting married, you'll find her behind the needle at Blue Ridge Tattoo Company in downtown Marion. Kat's work is precise, thoughtful, and tailored to exactly what you're envisioning — clients come from across the region just to sit with her.
The shop is owned and operated by Frank, a cornerstone of the Marion tattoo community whose years of dedication built Blue Ridge Tattoo Company into what it is today. His skill, his warmth, and his loyal following speak for themselves — and the place wouldn't exist without him.
